Amy Eileen Gunderson North of Vienna, MD passed away on Monday, June 17, 2019, at the Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, MD. She was 53 years old.
Born in Baltimore on July 17, 1965, Mrs. North was the daughter of the late Alton Clarence Gunderson and Peggy Lou Alt Gunderson. Originally from Ridgely, MD, Mrs. North had lived in Vienna with her husband for the past 12 years. She loved to bake and read but, most of all, she loved her grandchildren and family.
Mrs. North is survived by her husband, David E. North of Vienna; a daughter, Melody L. Allison (Donny) of Fredericksburg, VA; a step daughter, Heather North of Vienna; two brothers: Gus Gunderson of Delaware and Tim Gunderson of Ridgely; one sister, Margaret Dunn of Rising Sun, MD; 5 grandchildren: Savannah, Alexander, Noah, Lilly, and J.J.; her mother-in-law, Mary Frances North of Cambridge, MD; a sister-in-law, Carol North of Easton, and a brother-in-law, Michael North of E. New Market, MD.
Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Friday, June 21st, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A. located at 12 S. Second St. in Denton where friends may call from 11 until 12 before the service. Rev. Denzil Cheek will officiate. The interment will follow in the Ridgely Cemetery.
