Audrey Ann Garrett

     Audrey Ann Garrett of Burrsville near Denton, MD, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at the UM Shore Medical Center in Easton, MD. She was 82 years old.

     Born at home in Burrsville on November 16, 1936, Audrey was the daughter of the late Robert H. Garrett, Sr. and Lou Emma Layton Garrett. She had been a Teller and Book Keeper for the Denton National Bank in Denton for over 40 years.

     Audrey is survived by her long-time companion, James R. Henry of Denton; her beloved beagle, Rover; her nephew, Robert H. Garrett, III (Robby) of Denton; two great nieces, “granddaughters”, Ashley Burl (John) of Greensboro, MD and Brittany Contreras (Chazaray) stationed in Okinawa, Japan, and a great nephew, Robert Douglas Garrett of Elkton, MD; 6 great grandchildren: Dylan, Derrick, Drake, Ethan, Natalie, and Andre. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Robert H. Garrett, Jr. (Bobby) and a nephew, M. Douglas Garrett (Dougy).

     Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Friday, December 21st, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A. located at 12 S. Second Street in Denton where friends may call one hour prior to the service. The interment will be in the Denton Cemetery.
