Christopher Scott Alexander Christopher Scott Alexander went to be with his Lord on January 15, 2019, after a lengthy illness. He was born on January 28, 1966 in Annapolis, MD to Thomas A. Alexander and Lenore H. (Smith) Alexander.
He is survived by his parents, F. Martin Retzolk, Jr. and Lenore H. Retzolk of Denton; his son, Michael L. Alexander of West Jordan, UT; his daughter Lisa M. Corney of St. Petersburg, FL and his grandson, Nathan Birtwistle. He is also survived by his brothers, Michael J. Alexander (Melanie) of Felton, DE and Ryan L. Alexander (Jennifer) of Chestertown, MD; nieces and nephews, Kristy Gingerich (Justin) and Joseph Alexander of Durango, CO, and Katelyn, Allison and Braden Alexander of Chestertown; his aunt and uncle, David and Gayle (Smith) Ehrenfried of Bowie and several cousins.
Chris was predeceased by his father, Thomas A. Alexander of Powder Springs, GA; his maternal grandparents, Louis G. and Hilda Smith of El Paso, TX, William and Emily Alexander of Mt. Airy, GA and Pansy Kiker (McClung) of Hiram, GA.
As a proud ten-year U.S. Navy Veteran, Chris was a skilled Stationary Operating Engineer. Before his illness, he worked for several Bio-Technology firms in the Washington, DC area as a manager.
Chris was tender hearted and kind and loved to laugh. He was a best friend to his brothers. He will be sorely missed by all who loved and cared for him. Chris adored his children.
