David Pratt Obituary

     David L. Pratt of Preston, MD passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at the Caroline Home for Hospice in Denton. He was 70 years old.

     Born in Salina, KS on October 31, 1947, Mr. Pratt was the son of the late Harold Alonza Pratt and Alice Bettie Connaway Pratt. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran. After Vietnam, he married his wife, Patricia A. Pratt, and became a shop foreman at the Cummins-Wagner Company in Baltimore for 25 years. He and his wife moved to the Eastern Shore in 1979. He was a car person and loved to work on hotrods. He played guitar and had played in several Praise Bands over the years. He and his wife have been attending the Refuge Christian Fellowship Church near Greensboro, MD.

     In addition to his wife, Mr. Pratt is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Pratt Meyercheck (Sean) of Pittsburgh, PA; a granddaughter, Imani Grace Meyercheck and a grandson, Bailen Asher Meyercheck; a brother, Michael Pratt (Susan) of Ottawa, KS; and his beloved cat, Rascal.

     A Memorial service will be held at 3pm on Saturday, June 16th, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A. located at 12 S. Second Street in Denton where friends may visit with the family from 2 until 3 before the service. The interment will be private.
