Donna L. Towers of Denton, MD passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at the University of MD Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. She was 67 years old.
Mrs. Towers was born in Pilot Town, MD on October 30, 1950. She was the daughter of the late Richard Harry Keller and Charlotte Elaine Trimble Keller. Mrs. Towers graduated from Salisbury State College in 1972. She and her husband, Thomas, were married May 4, 1974. They lived in Medford, NJ for 11 years where she was the book keeper for the business they owned and operated. They moved back to Denton in 1991. Mrs. Towers was a member of the Grace Baptist Church in Hurlock. She loved to camp and cook. But, most of all, she loved her family and loved being a mother and grandmother.
Mrs. Towers is survived by her husband, Thomas M. Towers of Denton; a daughter, Christine T. Breeding (Rob) of Federalsburg, MD; a son, Alex Towers of Kissimmee, FL; two grandchildren: Ryan Breeding of Federalsburg and Skylar Elburn (Garrett) of Skipton, MD; and a sister, Susan Insley of Marlton, NJ. She was preceded in death by a son, Zachary Houston Towers in 1990.
Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Wednesday, July 18th, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A. located at 12 South Second Street in Denton where friends may visit with the family from 6 until 8 on Tuesday evening and from 11 to 12 before the service. Rev. David Talley will officiate. The interment will be in the Denton Cemetery located at 24865 Meeting House Road in Denton.
