Dorothy V. Robison of Denton, MD passed away on Saturday, September 1, 2018, at the Caroline Nursing Home in Denton. She was 93 years old.
Born in Denton on October 26, 1924, Mrs. Robison was the daughter of the late Franklin Johnson and Lillian Halmington Johnson. Her husband, J. Ollie Robison, died September 25, 2002. Mrs. Robison had lived in Denton all of her life and was a graduate of Caroline High School. She had worked as a waitress in Quick’s Restaurant in Denton for many years. She loved to garden and was an outstanding cook, as well as being a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother.
Mrs. Robison is survived by one daughter, Dottie Hemenway (Earl) of Denton; a son, Richard A. “Slick” Robison (Julia) of Denton; eight grandchildren: Scott, Ricky, Renee, Crystal, Tammy, Betty, Margie, and Barbie; and 23 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons, James Robison and Robert C. Robison and also numerous brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon Friday, September 7th, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A. located at 12 South Second Street in Denton where friends may call from 6 until 8 on Thursday evening. The interment will follow in the Greensboro Cemetery.
