Edward L. Hopkins of Ridgely, MD, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2019, at the Autumn Lake Healthcare in Denton, MDS. He was 73 years old.
Born on August 4, 1945, Mr. Hopkins was the only son of the late Leo Temple Hopkins and Anne Coulby Hopkins. He was a graduate of North Caroline High School and had attended the University of MD.
Mr. Hopkins is survived by his first cousins: Frances Sutton of NC, Jean Carr of DE, Kay Kominic of VA, and Doris Hammer-Lynch of WA. Also by Esther Lednum of MD, James Coulby of MD, Paul Coulby of DE, J. Norris Coulby III of D.C., Pam Miramon of DE, William Perkins of DE, and numerous other cousins and friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by cousins Jack Renick, Nick Coulby, and Lee Coulby; and by aunts and uncles: Florence and Sam Renick, Norris and Reba Coulby, James and Dorothy Coulby, and Mary and Arthur Hammer.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, July 30th, in the Ridgely Cemetery located on Rt. 480 in Ridgely.
