James O. (“Tucker”) Russum of Greensboro, MD, passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2018, at the UMSMC in Easton, MD. He was 73 years old.
Born in Denton, MD on August 24, 1944, Mr. Russum was the son of the late Wesley Oliver Russum and Lillian Baker Russum. He was a wood cutter and Steel worker for Unisite Design, Inc. in Denton for 15 years before retiring in 2015. When he wasn’t working, he was planting shrubbery and cutting his lawn or working on cars.
Mr. Russum is survived by his wife, Della M. Russum of Greensboro; a son, Nelson H. Russum of Greensboro; a sister, Donna Lee Jump of the Eastern Shore of VA; a brother, William Russum of Chattanooga, TN; two sister-in-laws, Phyllis Towers of Greensboro and Joyce Carter of Houston, DE; and his faithful companion Lab, Yeller. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law and best friend, John Towers.
Funeral services will be 1pm on Thursday, July 5th, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A. in Denton where friends may visit from 12 to 1 before the service. Rev. Denzil Cheek will officiate. The interment will follow in the Greensboro Cemetery.
