Jennette Wishard Forbes Henkel of Denton, MD, passed away on May 16, 2019 at the Autumn Lake Nursing Facility in Denton. She was 82 years old.
Born in Washington, D.C. on December 10, 1936, Mrs. Henkel was the daughter of the late Bernard Wishard and Minnie Hamm Wishard. Her son, Sean Forbes; her daughter, Shannon Forbes; her husband, Paul Henkel; her brothers: Norman Wishard, William Wishard, Robert Wishard, and John Wishard; and two sisters, Anne Randolph and May Wishard, are deceased. She worked for many years at the Southern Maryland Hospital in various departments. She lived most of her life in Maryland until she married, at which time she moved to Delaware. She came to Denton from Delaware in 2015.
Mrs. Henkel is survived by her sister, Alma Moore of Youngstown, OH; two grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. The inurnment is private.
The arrangements are by Moore Funeral Home, P.A. located at 12 S. Second Street in Denton, Maryland. If friends wanted to send a memorial donation to an organization in Mrs. Henkel’s memory, the family suggests sending them to the charity of choice.
