Logan M. Haddock of Denton, MD, passed away at the UMSMC (Memorial Hospital) in Easton, MD. He was 42 years old.
Born in Easton on August 25, 1975, Logan was the son of James F. Haddock of Easton and Cheryl C. Smith of Denton. He grew up in Denton and graduated from North Caroline High School in 1993. He was a drilling crew assistant for Joseph R. Smith, Inc. in Denton. Logan was an avid fan of the Baltimore Orioles and the Washington Redskins. As a youth, Logan loved playing Little League baseball and was a Boy Scout with Denton Troop 265. He played golf in High School as well as JV baseball. He loved all animals, big and small, especially his rescue cat, Nia. A wonderful, kind and loving person, Logan will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his mother and father, Logan is survived by his stepfather, Joseph R. Smith of Denton; his sister, Shannon L. Benson (David) of Greensboro, MD; a stepbrother, Brian Smith (Penny) of Greensboro, MD and a stepsister, Stephanie Smith (Brad) of High Point, NC; three nieces, Taylor Trice, Abigail Trice, and Sheridan Smith; three nephews: Zackary Benson, Dalton Smith, and Chase Smith; several aunts, uncles, cousins; and many friends including his oldest and best friend, Bobby Means of Salt Lake City, Utah.
A memorial celebration of Logan’s Life will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, June 16th, at the Moore Funeral Home in Denton where friends may visit with the family from 10 until 11 before the service. The inurnment will be private.
