Lydia Eileen Burnum

     Lydia E. Burnum of Marydel, MD, passed away at her home on Sunday, January 27, 2019. She was 68 years old.

     Born in Baltimore, MD, on November 15, 1950, Mrs. Burnum was the daughter of the late Michael and Teresa Lenoir Ciganek. She was a 1968 graduate of Seton High School. She retired from the Social Security District Office in Dover, DE in the early 2000’s. She then worked for the Dover Safeway until retiring. For many years, she had also enjoyed selling plants at the Chestertown Farmers Market with her husband.

     Mrs. Burnum is survived by her husband, John Craig Burnum of Marydel; a daughter and granddaughter, Lydia Feigh and Violet Feigh, both of Baltimore County, MD; and a brother, Peter Ciganek of Middle River, MD. A memorial service will be announced in the future.
