Wendy Denise Alberts

Wendy Denise Alberts of Chestertown, MD, passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 2, 2018, of natural causes. She was 50 years old.

Born in Baltimore, MD on October 10, 1968, Mrs. Alberts was the daughter of the late Betty Jean Jones Hewitt. She found joy in reading, writing, and animals. She had been a receptionist at a veterinarian clinic. Mrs. Alberts was very family oriented, and loved to help people.

Mrs. Alberts is survived by her father John Russell Hewitt of Barclay, MD; husband, Dave Alberts of Newark, MD; two sons: Joshua R. Short and his fiancé, Jewell Bedwell, of Denton, MD and Joseph W. Short and his wife, Nashira, of Salisbury, MD; two sisters: Heather Langford of Florida and Megan Jones of Chestertown, MD; and three grandchildren: Matthew, Russell, and Lay’Ana.

A memorial gathering will be held at 12 Noon on Friday, May 11th, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A. located at 12 S. Second Street in Denton, Friends may visit with the family from 11 until 12 before the service at the funeral home.  The interment is private.
