Agnes Ann Adams Obituary

     Agnes Ann Adams was born on January 7, 1949, to the late John “Tree” and Rosemary (Healy) Adams. She passed away on December 16, 2025, after a short time in hospice.

     She attended Our Lady of Lourdes and Little Flower School in Bethesda, Maryland. She graduated from School of the Holy Child in Potomac, Maryland before attending the University of Maryland, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. She furthered her education at CCAC in San Francisco, California, studying Environmental Design and Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York with a major in Interior Design/Gerontology.

     Her professional career included N. Frank & Sons, Adjunct Professor at Montgomery College, Interior Design/Space Planning at GSA, VA, HSC, IRS, Naval Facilities Engineering Command in Norfolk, Virginia, and NIH. Upon retirement Agnes hit the open road, traveling the country before finally settling in Stevensville, Maryland near her extensive family members.

     Her Catholic faith guided her life. Though times were not always easy, she knew she was loved by her family. She will live on in the memories of her family and will bring smiles to their faces as they call to mind her many antics.

     She was proceeded on death by her father and mother, John “Tree” and Rosemary (Healy) Adams, John W Adams, Jr. (Shari), & Thomas W. Adams. She is survived by Margaret Healy, her Aunt, and her siblings: Mary Katherine Miller (Jerry), Theresa Plummer (James), Patricia Sullivan (Terry), Rosemary Adams, James Frances Adams, Margaret (Peggy) Lewis (Robert), and Joan Marks (Scott). She was fortunate to also have many nieces and nephews.

     There will be a Rosary (9:15 am) & Funeral Mass at 10:00 am on Tuesday, January 6th at St. Christopher Church in Chester, Maryland.
