Anna Irene Cooper

     Anna Irene Cooper of Marydel, DE, passed away at the Bayhealth Hospital, Kent Campus in Dover, DE on Saturday, February 4, 2023. She was 81 years old.

     Born in Baltimore, MD on December 22, 1941, Mrs. Cooper was the daughter of the late Edward Revell Thomas and Emma Gray Thomas. She had lived most of her life in Arnold, MD and was a homemaker. Her husband, Samuel Franklin Cooper, Sr., died March 15, 2011.

     Mrs. Cooper is survived by a son, Samuel F. Cooper, Jr. (Patricia) of Marydel, DE a brother, Edward Thomas of Arnold; three grandchildren: Jason Colburn, Jennifer Colburn, and Shilo Cooper; and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Belinda I. Joyner; two grandsons, Joe Colburn and Justin Colburn; and a brother, Denny Thomas.

     A graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, February 10th, in the Glen Haven Memorial Park Cemetery located at 7231 Richie Highway, Ste E, Glen Burnie, MD 21061.
