BOBBY COLLINS, AGE 86, ENTERED ETERNAL REST ON APRIL 24, 2024, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. He was a proud Army Veteran and proprietor of Collins Tree Service serving the Greater Cleveland area and communities surrounding Independence.
He is survived by his sister Carmen (Paul) Good, brother-in-law Wesley Townsend, and cherished nieces/nephews/caregivers, Rodney Collins, Vanessa O’Malley, Dana Collins and Lora Della Vella, and many other nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his former wife Patricia, parents Adam Frazier and Lena Collins, sisters Brenda Townsend, Nona Gay Wagner, Peggy Palumbo, Lylas Gottwald, Fern Darling, and brothers Rex Collins, and Pete Collins. He was a good friend to many.
FRIENDS MAY CALL AT VODRAZKA FUNERAL HOME 6505 BRECKSVILLE RD., INDEPENDENCE (1/2 mile south of Rockside Rd), ON MONDAY, APRIL 29, 2024 FROM 3-6:30 PM. A funeral service will begin at 6:30 with Pastor Dan Edgerly of Gentiva Hospice presiding.
A second service will be held Thursday, May 2, 2024, 11AM at Moore Funeral Home in Denton, MD where friends may visit with the family from 10-11 before the service. Bobby will be laid to rest at Greensboro Cemetery, Greensboro, MD.
