Brian Edward Flaherty of Easton, Maryland passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at his home. He was 44 years old.
Born in Baltimore, MD on December 10, 1981, he was the son of Sharon A. Wise Flaherty and the late Jay Edward Flaherty. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and served in Iraq. He was a Laboratory Supply Manager for Eastern Shore Smile Solutions in Easton. A great fan of Lord of The Rings, he loved playing tabletop games with his children and painting Warhammer figures. Most of all, he was an exceptional and devoted husband and father to his family and his faith in Jesus was the most important thing to him.
In addition to his mother, Brian is survived by his wife, Jessica Flaherty; eight children: Kate Flaherty, Brittany Flaherty, Nathaniel Flaherty, Leah Flaherty, Norah Flaherty, Abigail Grace Flaherty, Elizabeth Flaherty, and Addilyn Flaherty; mother-in-law, Nancy Braddee; and father-in-law, Doug Wooten (Roberta).
Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, May 27th from 5 to 7PM at Moore Funeral Home, P.A. 12 S. 2nd St. Denton, MD, and 10 to 11AM on Thursday, May 28th at St. Benedict Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, May 28th, 11AM at St. Benedict Catholic Church 408 Central Ave. Ridgely, MD.
