Calvin A. Wilson

Calvin A. Wilson passed away on September 15, 2022, at home with his family in Greensboro, Maryland. He was 67 years old.

Calvin was born in Oxford, PA, to the late Alfred Wilson and Catherine Roney Wilson.

Mr. Wilson was a plumber and worked many years with Easton Memorial Hospital. When he was not working, Calvin enjoyed golfing, fishing, camping, and spending time with his family.

Calvin is survived by his wife, Laurie Wilson; whom he married on October 16, 1986; 6 children: Lisa Patrick (Scott) of Preston, MD, Chris Colby (Tori Penebraugh) of Jessup, Jessica Wilson of Pine Grove, PA, Jason Wilson (Joanne) of Denver, CO, Jen Wilson (Ernie Bradley) of Denton, and Josh (Mackenzie) Wilson of Easton; 18 grandchildren: Dustin, Amber, Michael, Katelyn, Cole, Rowan, Rayna, Gloria, Esme, Lauren, Aaron, Cameron, Austin, Owen, Keeleigh, Kent, Carter, and Callen; 3 great-grandchildren with 1 on the way; 4 sisters: Patricia Giffing, Martha Baker, Sandra Wilson, and Cindy Hill.
Calvin is preceded in death by a son, Jeremy Wilson, who passed on Feb. 23, 2019, and a sister, Carol.

The funeral service will be on Wednesday, September 21 at 1:00 PM at Moore Funeral Home, P.A. located 12 S. Second St. Denton, MD. Friends may visit will the family 12 Noon to 1:00 PM before the service. Interment will be in the Denton Cemetery, 24865 Meeting House Rd. Denton, MD.
