Charlotte Ann Booth of Queen Anne, MD, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024, at the UM Shore Medical Center in Easton, MD. She was 88 years old.
Born at home in Queen Anne, Ms. Booth was the daughter of the late William Adolph Greiner and Helen Elizabeth Porter Greiner. She was a graduate of Centreville High School and Goldey-Beacom College in Wilmington.
Ms. Booth had worked as an insurance agent with Avon-Dixon Insurance Agency in Easton, MD before retiring after thirty years. For many years, she enjoyed antiquing, collecting post cards and kitchen utensils, and spending weekends at the beach.
Ms. Booth is survived by a great grandson, Matthew William Booth, Jr. of Newark, DE; a brother, Ralph Greiner of Ridgely, MD; a nephew, Douglas Greiner (Andrea) of Salisbury, MD, their two children, Quinn and Nolan. She was also especially close to cousin, Bonita Stafford (Reese) of Ridgely, MD and her daughter Tammy Stafford of Greensboro. MD. She is predeceased by her parents; her son Carl Booth; her grandson Matthew Booth Sr.; her brother Allen Greiner; and longtime companion David L. Holden.
As requested by Ms. Booth, the memorial service will be very private. Because of her fondness of her cats, the family suggests that donations in her memory be made to the Caroline County Humane Society, 407 West Belle St., Ridgely, MD 21660.
