Dan Boyd, III passed suddenly on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie, Maryland. He was 46 years old.
Born June 1, 1976, Dan was the son of Susan Jean Baughman Boyd and the late Dan Boyd, Jr. He was a 1995 graduate of Southwestern High School. Dan was a Sergeant at Jessup Regional Range as a firearms instructor for most of his 22-year career with the State of Maryland. He loved spending time with Theresa watching Josh play baseball and Danny acting on the stage. He loved the Orioles and the New York Jets, camping with family and playing with his dogs: Barley, Dempsey, and Bunny. In addition to his mother, Dan is survived by his devoted wife, Theresa A. Boyd; two sons: Danny C. Boyd and Joshua R. Boyd; sister, Jennifer Collins; niece, Jasmine Collins; three nephews: Brian Fultz, Ray Fultz, and Remy Fultz; and numerous loving family members. He was preceded in death by his father, Dan Boyd, Jr., who passed in October 2022.
