Dan Boyd, Jr. of Denton, MD, formerly of Baltimore, MD, passed away at the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center in Easton, MD. He was 67 years old.
Born in Baltimore, Mr. Boyd was the son of the late Dan Boyd, Sr. and Bernadette Marie Foster Boyd. He was a 1974 graduate of Southern High School in Baltimore.
For fifteen years, Mr. Boyd had worked as a warehouse manager for DaVita Dialysis. He retired in 2017 and then moved to the Eastern Shore.
He loved to watch his grandchildren play sports and was a great fan of the Baltimore Orioles. Mr. Boyd is survived by his wife, Susan Boyd of Denton; a son, Dan Boyd, III and his wife Theresa of Pasadena, MD; a daughter, Jennifer Collins of Denton; five grandchildren: Brian Fultz, Jr., Ray Fultz, Dan C. Boyd, Joshua Boyd, and Jasmine Collins; one great grandchild, Remington “Remy” Fultz; and two sisters: Rhonda Boyd and Wanda Jean Boyd, both of Baltimore.
A funeral service will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, October 18th, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A. located at 12 South Second Street in Denton where friends may call from 10 to 11 before the service.
