David A. Tolson, Sr., passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2023 at the Shore Medical Center in Easton, MD. He was 66 years old.
Born January 24, 1956, in Baltimore, MD, Dave was the son of the late James Edward Tolson, Jr., and Anna May Giesler Tolson Bowman.
Mr. Tolson attended North East High School, then he worked for Grace Davidson Chemical Co. for 46 years; retiring just recently in 2021. Dave was a family man that loved to spend time reminding his son that he was a Junior. David also enjoyed the peace of fishing, a nice contrast to a house filled with pets and grandkids.
David is survived by his wife, Patricia L. Tolson of Denton; three daughters: Allison Canada (Jeff) of Salisbury, Christina Black (Jackie) of Ridgely, and Amanda Turner of Denton; son, David Tolson, Jr. (Dawn) of Federalsburg; twelve grandchildren: Heather Tolson, Zachery Tolson, Darren Black, Nathan Canada, Paige Black, Benjamin Canada, Hayley Black, Natalie Tolson, Dylan Black, Sophia Black, Audrey Turner, and Dawson Turner; four brothers: James (Terri), Joe, Donald, and Harvey Tolson; sister, Pam Williams (Danny).
A family memorial celebration of life will be 2:30 PM, January 17th at the Ridgely Fire House located 101 Sunset Blvd, Ridgely, MD 21660.
