David E. Wooters, Jr.

David Eugene (Dave) Wooters, Jr., of Preston, Maryland passed on Friday, April 19, 2024, at UMSMC at Easton. He was 60 years young.

Born in Easton, on December 4, 1963, David was the son of Sharon Lee Collins Wooters, and the late David Eugene Wooters, Sr. David was a 1981 graduate of Colonel Richardson High School. Throughout his education, Dave upheld substantial grades, and perfect attendance. Devoted to work, Dave was a proud industrial electrician, beginning his career in 1987 where he began his journey at Dupont. He remained an industrial electrician till around 2019 and held up various jobs throughout the electrical industry.

Dave was a selfless, humorous, loving human being who will be immensely missed. Growing up on the eastern shore, Dave spent the majority of his time outside. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. One of his favorite pastimes included going camping. Dave loved the little things in life. He enjoyed spending time with his family, and cracking jokes. Dave loved to relax and watch TV. He enjoyed wartime movies and cowboy shows. Dave was an avid reader. He was always willing to learn more information and was big on history. A member of Bethlehem Wesleyan, Dave devoted his life to God. He loved classical rock and taking truck rides spotting deer.

In addition to his mother, David is survived by his children: Kaylyn Wooters, David Wooters, III, Megan Murphy (Matt), and Kiersten Citro; his best friend, Robin Wood; siblings: Pamela Bell, Kim Wooters, and Brenda Collins; five grandchildren: Jacob, Maeve, Hadleigh, Haven and Hudson; nieces and nephews: Conner, Jed, Macy, Wayden, Ashley, Robbie, Sammi, Joey, and Ryan, and his special cousin, Mariann Miller.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by: maternal grandmother, Lillian Collins and paternal grandmother, Bessie Wooters.

The family will host a Celebration of Life on Saturday, May 4, 2024, 12 Noon, at Bethlehem Wesleyan Church 5330 Bethlehem Rd, Preston, MD 21655.
