Donald Marvin Homesley of Denton, MD, passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2021, at the Regional Compass Home for Hospice in Centreville. He was 74 years old.
Born in Washington, MO in 1946, Mr. Homesley had been an electrical engineer for Pacific Gas and Electric in Santa Rosa CA. He retired in 2010 and, in 2012, moved to Denton where he was a member of the St. Luke’s United Methodist Church. A terrific husband, father, and grandfather, he was also a great fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Mr. Homesley is survived by his wife of 49 years, Deena B. Homesley of Denton; a daughter, Sheila Davis and her husband, Kent, of Denton; a son, Lee Homesley and his wife, Beth, of Baltimore, MD; and four grandchildren: Gwendolyn, Dean, Sayles, and Deckert. He was also survived by three sisters: Wanda Bambush and her husband John of Michigan, Marlea Cooley and her husband Dan and their two children Amanda and Austin, all in Florida, and Nancy Kidwell and her husband Steve and their children Audrey and Robert, all in Missouri.
A memorial service will be held at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A. located at 12 S. Second Street in Denton at 11 AM on Friday, March 19th where friends may visit with the family from 10 until 11 before the service. The inurnment will be private in Missouri.
