Donald E. Lister

     Donald Earl Lister of Seaford, DE, passed away at his home on Sunday, November 10, 2024. He was 87 years old.

     Born at home in Federalsburg, MD on July 4, 1937, Mr. Lister was the son of Joshua (Jock) Lee Lister and Carrie Alice Watson Lister. He had worked for Bob Breeding General Contractors in Denton for 16 years before retiring.

      Mr. Lister is survived by his wife of 67 years, T. Geraldine Lister of Seaford; two daughters: Patty Lister Eure of Edenton, NC and Ida Lister Tipton (Mitch) of Seaford; a sister, Ruth Ann Breeding of Denton, MD; a sister-in-law, Anna Pauline Lister of Denton; 9 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. He is predeceased by three daughters: Geri Lynn Lister, Donna Lister Mast, and Terri Lister; a sister, Mary Veal; a brother, Merle Lee Lister, Sr.; a beloved granddaughter and a beloved great grandson.

     Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, November 16th, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A. in Denton where friends may visit with the family from 11 to 12 before the service. The interment will be in Denton Cemetery.
