Obituary
Donald G. Rogers of Denton, MD went home to be with our Lord on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at University of MD Hospital in Easton MD.
Born on April 13, 1949 in Lambertville, NJ, he was the son of the late Jack and Helen Rogers of Greensboro, MD, formerly from Lambertville, NJ.
Donald retired from Southern States in Denton where he had worked for many years.
Donald was a sweet, caring man who had a strong faith in God and was loved by everyone he met.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister, Barry (Sparky) Rogers, Robert (Bob) Rogers and Shirley Bacorn.
Donald is survived by his companion Elinor Taylor of Denton, MD, sisters Virginia Pagan of Hudson, FL, Norma Runkle of Lambertville, NJ, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:30 AM on July 16, 2022, at the Preston Lions Club, 114 Williamson Street, Preston, MD 21655. Lunch will be provided. However, if you would like to bring a dish it would be appreciated. Dress is casual.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Donald Rogers to a charity of your choice.
