Donald "Ricky" Todd

Donald Richard “Ricky” Todd of Ridgely, MD, passed away at his home on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, due to heart problems. He was 64 years old. 

     Born on May 9, 1961, in Easton, MD, Ricky was the son of the late Ronald Knotts Todd, Sr., and Ella Jane Downes Todd of Ridgely. A carpenter most of his life, he was a 1979 graduate of Colonel Richardson High School near Federalsburg, MD.  Ricky enjoyed watching sports, caring for animals, and helping his friends and neighbors.

     In addition to his mother, Ricky is survived by four brothers: Ronald K. Todd, Jr., of Ridgely, MD; John W. Todd (Donna) of Denton, MD; Maurice L. Todd of Key West, FL; and Lawrence A. Todd (Patti) of East New Market, MD.

     Plans for a memorial celebration of Ricky’s life will be announced at a future date.
