Donald H. Willin

     Donald H. Willin of Ridgely, MD, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021, at the U of MD Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. He was 80 years old.

     Born at home in Federalsburg, MD, Mr. Willin was the son of the late Louis Goldsboro Willin and Eleanor Sherman Willin. His wife, Beverly S. Willin, passed away on February 16, 1994.

     Mr. Willin started work as a young man working for the ACME store chain in Federalsburg and Denton. He designed garments for Playtex for 20 years before went to work for Lifetime Wells in Denton, retiring at age 65 after 28 years.

     Mr. Willin is survived by his sister, Barbara Ann Willin Moore of Federalsburg; and two brothers, Robert Lee Willin (Shirley) of Federalsburg and Melvin Willin of Laurel, MD; and a niece, Betty Robinson of Laurel, DE, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Willin is predeceased by his daughter, Carol Lynn Willin, a sister-in-law, Georgie Willin, and a brother-in-law, Dallas Moore. In addition, the family expresses a special thanks to Don’s neighbors, Mandy and Jenny.
