Donald F. Towers, Jr.

     Donald F. Towers, Jr. of Denton, MD, passed away at the UM Shore Medical Center at Easton, MD on Thursday, March 5, 2026. He was 68 years old.

     Born in Easton on February 14, 1958, Donald was the son of the late Donald F. Towers, Sr. and Shirley Ann Woolford Towers. He had lived in the mid-shore area all his life.

     Donald was a 1977 graduate of North Caroline High School in Ridgely, MD. He had worked for Sylvester Farms in Queen Anne for thirty years. He then worked for Sonny Eaton before working for 480 Truck Repair in Ridgely from which he retired two years ago. He hunted and fished and loved going to yard sales. But most of all, he loved his family and being with his grandchildren and was grateful they were with him at the end.

     Donald is survived by his wife, Patricia L. Towers of Denton; one son, Brandon S. Towers of Denton; two grandchildren, Rosemarie L. Towers and Charlotte Dawn Towers; two step granddaughters, Lea Morral and Lilly Morral; two sisters, Brenda Pepper (Paul) and Malinda Robinson (Shaun); a brother, Curtis Towers (Linda); and a sister-in-law, Sally Edwards (Jim).

     The funeral service is being held at 12 noon on Tuesday, March 10th at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A., 12 S. 2nd Street in Denton where friends may visit with the family from 11 am until 12 before the service. The interment will be in the Green Mount Cemetery on Cemetery Road in Hillsboro, MD.

     Donald had one strong request: He wanted people to attend his funeral service dressed in blue jeans. He did not want them to be dressed up.
