Dr. Marc McDonald Obituary

Dr. Marc L. McDonald died Thursday, March 24, 2022, at the Tidalhealth Peninsula Regional Hospital in Salisbury, MD. He was 37 years old.


Born in Easton, MD, Marc was the son of Robert J. and Lori L. McDonald. Marc had a private but adventurous life. He graduated from Easton High school in 2002, where he participated in a variety of sports, including pole vaulting. He attended University of Maryland for his undergraduate degree, then went on to Clarion University and obtained his Master’s in Biology. Marc most recently attended UMES earning a Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2018. Over the summer of 2017, Marc had the wonderful pleasure of backpacking through Europe, which brought him great joy and his mother great stress. He also enjoyed working out for Strongman competitions and playing video games with Nikki. Marc was able to help others in need through organ donation. 


In addition to his parents, Marc is survived by his sister, Megan Berman (Brandon); twin nieces, Clara and Ava; girlfriend, Nikki Austin; uncle, John McDonald, aunts, Laura Levin, Karen Burt (Steve), Jayne Spencer (Cowles), Kathi McCullough and cousins. He is predeceased by his uncles, Bruce R. Levin, Mark McDonald and Michael McDonald. Marc also recently lost his beloved rescue husky, Loki.
