Edna Mae Parks Coulby of Easton, MD, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2025, at the Dixon House in Easton. She was 110 years old.
Born in Trappe, MD on September 21, 1914, Mrs. Coulby was the daughter of the late James Isaac Parrott and Lena Stephenson Sullivan Parrott. Her first husband, Guy William Parks, died November 19, 1981. Her second husband, J. Norris Coulby, died February 5, 2010.
Mrs. Coulby had lived in Talbot County all her life. She was a 1932 graduate of Idlewild High School in Easton. A homemaker, she had also been a cashier for 17 years for the St. Michaels High School and she had attended the St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in Easton.
Mrs. Coulby is survived by her son, W. Roger Parks (Betty) of Cambridge, MD; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Eunice Estelle Roe; a son, David Kenneth Parks; two sisters, Louise and Pauline Parrott; two brothers: Philip L. and Davis S. Parrott; and two grandchildren, Terri Parks and D.R. Roe.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Friday, January 24th, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A., 12 South Second Street in Denton where friends may call one hour prior. The interment will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery in Easton.
