Edward Paul Tracey of Greensboro, MD, passed away at his home on Monday, April 18, 2022. He was 56 years old.
Born in Baltimore, MD in 1965, Mr. Tracey was the son of Barbara Schweiger Tracey (Robert Ross) of Pasadena, MD, and the late Thomas William Tracey. He was a graduate of Chesapeake High School.
Mr. Tracey moved to the Eastern Shore from Pasadena twenty years ago. He had worked for Joseph B. Fay Co. as a bulldozer and other heavy equipment operator. He was a member of Operators Local 37 in Baltimore. He was a great and loving son, father and husband and he loved hunting for deer and geese.
In addition to his mother, Barbara Schweiger Tracey and his stepfather and friend, Robert Ross, Mr. Tracey is survived by his beloved wife, Melanie Orr Tracey of Greensboro; two sons: Steven Tracey of Glen Burnie, MD and October Tracey of Greensboro; three step children: Georgia Stayton (Brian), Sara Smith (Nathan), and Gerald Orr; three sisters: Rita Theisz (Chuck), Michelle Duncan (Stacy), Wanda Stroud (Randy), and a brother, Robert Tracey; nine grandchildren: Zachary Smith, Landyn Smith, Jayden Orr, McKenna Smith, Brynley Smith, Carrington Stayton, Paxton Smith, Sawyer Stayton, and John Orr. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Tracey.
A funeral service will be at 12 Noon on Friday, April 22nd, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A. located at 12 South Second Street in Denton, MD where friends may visit with the family from 11 until 12 before the service. There will be a second service at 11 am on Monday, April 25th, with friends calling from 10 to 11 before the service at the Stallings Funeral Home in Pasadena.
