Elizabeth "Betty" Ellis

     Elizabeth T. Ellis (“Betty”) of Baltimore City, MD, passed away on Tuesday, July 14th, at the Peak Healthcare in Denton, MD. She was 93 years old.

     Born in Baltimore, Betty was the daughter of the late Joseph Noppenberger and Marie Lauer Noppenberger. Her husband, John David Ellis, died June 12, 2010.

     Betty was a mother, grandmother, and a homemaker. An avid reader, she loved cooking new recipes as well as watching television, especially Public Broadcasting.

     Betty is survived by a daughter, Florence E. Doherty (Jack, Jr.) of Denton; a son, Joseph David Ellis (Ruth) of Baltimore; and four grandchildren: Katie Wilson (Chris), John A. Doherty III, Joseph D. Doherty, and Andrew J. Ellis. She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Theresa Ellis.

     A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be private.
