Eugene D. Racz, Jr.

     Eugene D. Racz, Jr. of Henderson, MD, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2023 at the Bayhealth Hospital in Dover, DE. He was 63 years old.

     Born in Easton, MD, Mr. Racz was the son of Eugene D. Racz, Sr. of Henderson and the late Josephine Ellen Schreiber Racz. He was a 1977 graduate of North Caroline High School in Ridgely, MD.

     Mr. Racz was a building materials salesman for Wyoming Mill Work in Camden, Delaware. One of his greatest pastimes was shooting pool where the highlight of the season would be a trip to Las Vegas if the team won. His most avid passion above all, he enjoyed his family and grandchildren. He was a faithful member of the Greensboro Baptist Church.

     In addition to his father, Mr. Racz is survived by his beloved wife, H. Loretta Racz of Henderson; a daughter, Jennifer Wharton (Richard) of Abington, MD; a stepdaughter, Heather Weir of Henderson; a brother, Wayne J. Racz of Henderson; six grandchildren: Dean, Sara, Dylan, Drake, River, and Aspen; and a great granddaughter, Elizabeth Rose. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a stepson, Danny Carrow.

     A memorial service will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday February 18th, at the Greensboro Baptist Church in Greensboro, MD where friends may visit with the family from 11 to 12 before the service. The interment will be private.
