Eugene F. Williamson of Federalsburg, MD, passed away at the UMSMC in Easton, MD on Sunday, April 4, 2021. He was 79 years old.
Born in Caroline County, MD, Mr. Williamson was the son of the late George H. Williamson, Sr. and Cordelia Clevenger Williamson. He was a self-employed logger and owner of Williamson Logging. A US Army veteran, he liked to hunt, fish, and work on lawnmowers. He was a great father and grandfather and he loved to work and lived to work.
Mr. Williamson is survived by a son, Michael Williamson (Stacey) of Federalsburg; three grandsons: Devin Williamson (Kelsey) of Rhodesdale, MD, Mackenzie Williamson of Denton and Robert Williamson of Federalsburg; two great grandchildren, Eli Williamson and Madalynn Taylor; his close companion of many years, Lisa Berklew and her daughter, Tiffany of Federalsburg; two sisters: Betty Williamson Flint (Wallace) of Selmer, TN and Donna Crews (Keith) of Mardela Springs, MD; two brothers: George H. Williamson, Jr. (Betty Lee) of Williamsburg, MD and Butch Williamson (Dottie) of Federalsburg; and his best friend, Donald Bell. Mr. Williamson was predeceased by five sisters: Virginia Tull, Mary Jane Pollard, Bertha Ellen Williamson, Doris Williamson Jones, and Norma Lee Williamson Jones; and four brothers: Melvin Williamson, David Williamson, Johnny Williamson, and R. Dale Williamson.
A graveside service will be held at 12 Noon on Friday, April 9th, in the Bloomery UM Church Cemetery in Smithville near Federalsburg.
