Eunice Dean Debo of Norfolk, VA, formerly of Denton, MD, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at the Beth Sholom Nursing Home in Virginia Beach, VA. She was 93 years old.
Born in Denton on August 13, 1929, Mrs. Debo was the daughter of the late Alexander Melvin Dean and Grace Agnes Pollard Dean. Her husband, Eugene “Jack” Debo, passed away August 24, 2001.
Mrs. Debo had worked for many years as a secretary for Delmarva Power and Light in Denton before retiring. She and her husband had lived in Denton and Rehoboth. After her husband’s death, she moved to Norfolk, VA to be near family.
Mrs. Debo is survived by a nephew, Timothy Melvin Dean and his wife, Anna, of Norfolk, VA; a niece, Terese Dean Lantz and her husband, Brian, of Norfolk; and a great nephew, Justin Dean of Norfolk. She is predeceased by her brother, Howard Melvin Dean.
A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, December 8th, in the Denton Cemetery located at 24865 Meeting House Road in West Denton. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests sending memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Association, https://www.alz.org (PHONE: 302-854-9788).
