Faith H. Tomsa States

Faith H. Tomsa States of Hurlock, Maryland peacefully passed away surrounded by family and friends at her home on Friday, June 7, 2024. She was 67 years old.

Born December 13, 1956, in Middletown, DE, she was the daughter of the late George Washington Scott and Anna Mae Sullivan Scott. Faith worked for Pizza Hut for 22 years as a manager. She then was manager for Admiral Cleaners for 20 years. When Faith retired, she cherished the time spent with her family.

Faith is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Joseph F. States of Hurlock, MD; four cherished daughters: Rebecca Yorker (Neil) of Hurlock, Samantha Dolby (Davon) of Preston, Tiffany States (Bradley) of Hurlock, and Deanna Meninger (Matt) of Hurlock; ten adorable grandchildren; life-long friend, Frances Willis (Charlie) of Cordova; three brothers: William Scott (Patty) of Kennedyville, Neal Scott (Lou-Ann) of Easton, and Willard Scott of Elkton; and sister, Harriet States (Bruce) of Bethlehem. In addition to her parents, Faith was preceded in death by two sisters: Phyllis Missimer, and Brenda Quartara.

There will be a viewing on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, from 2PM to 4PM at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A. 12 S. 2nd St. Denton, MD. Interment is private.

The family requests donations in Faith’s memory to the Caroline County Humane Society 407 West Belle Rd. Ridgely, MD 21660.

Faith will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
