Francis Earl "Frankie" Schultz Obituary

     Francis Earl Schultz “Frankie” of Ridgely, MD, passed away at the Anne Arundel Center in Annapolis, MD on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. He was 70 years old.

     Born in Easton, MD on May 23, 1955, Mr. Schultz was the son of the late Robert Lee Schultz and Mary Jane Kenney Schultz. He was a 1973 graduate of North Caroline High School.

     Mr. Schultz was a self-employed waterman out of St. Michaels and Kent Island. His boat was the Someday. He also liked to hunt, fish and, when younger, liked to rebuild classic cars. A wonderful husband, father, and grandfather, his wife, Norma L. Schultz, was sitting with him when he passed away.

     In addition to his wife of 48 years, Norma, Mr. Schultz is survived by a son, James K. Schultz of Ridgely; a daughter, Crystal L. Hill of Ridgely; four grandchildren: Taylor Earl Moran (Shelby) of Denton, Natalee Moran Reynolds (Nicholas) of Greensboro, Madalyn Hill of Greensboro, and Trevor Hill of Ridgely; four great grandchildren: Bryson, Colson, Oliver Earl, and Harper; a sister, Deborah Cahall; a brother, Roger Schultz; a favorite aunt, Kitty Faulkner of Marydel; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by a brother, Robert L. Schultz, and a sister, Susan Thomason.

     A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, May 10th, at the Grasonville VFW located at 203 VFW Ave. in Grasonville, MD where friends may visit with the family from 1 until 2 before the service. The interment is private.

     In lieu of flowers, the family suggests for friends to send memorial donations to the Queen Anne County Waterman’s Association, 108 Spruce Dr. Queen Anne, MD 21657 or to the Grady Todd Purdy Memorial Fund, 9386 Mike Street, Denton, MD 21629.
