Howard “Allen” Cooksey of Denton, MD passed away on February 19, 2024, in Easton, MD after a long battle with diabetes. He was 56 years old.
Born on June 25, 1967 in Cheverly, MD to Nathan Cooksey, Jr. and Mary Georgia Cooksey (Raynor). Allen married his lovely wife Jane in August of 1996. Allen worked most of his youth, and young adult life as Bob Hall of Budweiser as a forklift operator and warehouse hand. He decided to try other things and started a new chapter in his life. Allen began doing landscaping and gardening which became his favorite pass-time. Allen always loved to go fishing with his wife and father-in-law. Allen was known for always tinkering with things, trying to fix it or make it louder or better. HE was always staying busy doing something or getting into something.
Allen is survived by his loving wife Jane Cooksey; his father, Nathan Cooksey, Jr of Denton; two brothers, Perry Cooksey (Linda) of King George, VA and Charlie Cooksey (Lisa) of Hollywood, MD; a sister, Melissa Reilly (Bernie) of Seaford, DE; 9 nieces and nephews; and 7 great-nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Georgia Cooksey, his grandfather Howard Raynor, and his grandmother Mary Raynor.
A memorial Celebration of Life will be private.
