Hampton "Buddy" Brady, Jr.

     Hampton Roland Brady, Jr. known as “Buddy”, passed away at his home in Temperanceville, VA on Thursday, February 2, 2023. He was 78 years old.

     Born in Lothian, MD on Nov. 29, 1944, Buddy was the son of Hampton Roland Brady, Sr. and Catherine Ida Raynor Brady. He was a US Army veteran and moved to the Eastern Shore of Virginia in 1979. He became a waterman and enjoyed crabbing.

     Buddy is survived by three sisters: Pixie Sappington (Tom) of Queen Anne, MD, Judith Gavrilenkowsky of Harrington, DE, and Carol Bell of Easton, MD; and a brother, Joel W. Brady, Sr. of Ridgely, MD. He was preceded in death by a sister, Catherine Griffith.

     There will be an 10 to 11 AM viewing/visitation on Thursday, February 9th, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A. located at 12 South Second Street in Denton, MD. A 2 PM graveside service will follow at the Christ Church Parish Cemetery located at 220 Owensville Rd in West River, MD 20778.
