Harold Leslie Wicker of Edgewater, MD passed away at Arcadia of Denton on November 28, 2024. He was 87 years old.
Born in Wheelersburg, OH on February 14, 1937, Mr. Wicker was the son of the late Leslie Wicker and Bessie Hamilton Wicker. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a plumber and Shop Foreman for David Taylor Research Center in Annapolis, retiring in 1999. He was an avid deer and rabbit hunter all his life and he also enjoyed fishing.
Mr. Wicker is survived by his wife, M. Lee Wicker of Edgewater, MD; two sons: Jerry L. Wicker (Debbie) of Centreville and H. Leslie Wicker, Jr. of Annapolis, MD; two daughters: Judy Wicker of Edgewater, MD and Carolyn Richmond of California; five grandchildren: Shannon James (Chris), Jerry L. Wicker, Kellie Wicker, James Wicker, and Zachary Kreuzburg; five great grandchildren: Macey, Garrett, Dustin, Matthew, and Alexa; and two surviving sisters: Alma Willis of Keystone Heights, FL and Virginia Dundon of Crestline, OH. He was one of thirteen children and is predeceased by 10 brothers and sisters.
