Harry W. Essick of Easton, MD, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2024. He was 74 years old.
Born in Easton, MD on October 12, 1949, Harry was the son of the late Melvin R. Essick, Sr. and Anna Schall Essick. He was a 1967 graduate of Easton High School. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and had been a self-employed carpenter for many years. He then drove a truck for Keith Leverton Trucking in Centreville, MD until he retired.
Harry is survived by his lifelong friends, Ann Thomas of Easton, and Barbara Carmean of Federalsburg. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Melvin “Ray” Essick, Jr. and his wife, Joan Essick.
A memorial celebration of Harry’s life will be held at 1 pm on this Saturday, January 6th, at Denny’s Restaurant at 8493 Ocean Gateway in Easton where he met with his friends every morning. His interment will be private.
