Henrietta "Henny" Brown

     Henrietta Ann “Henny” Brown of Denton, MD, passed away on March 4, 2020 at the Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, MD. She was 76 years old.

     Born in Calvert County, MD on February 8, 1944, Mrs. Brown was the daughter of the late Marty Ross and Eleanor Grierson Ross. She had been a self-employed beautician in St. Leonard, MD and Federalsburg, MD. Besides being a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, she enjoyed collecting light houses.

     Mrs. Brown is survived by her husband, Joseph E. Brown of Denton; three sons: Fred Jennette (Jennifer) of Greenwood, DE, Robert Jennette, Jr. of Denton, and Anthony Thomas Jennette (Virginia) of Denton; four living sisters: Evelyn, Virginia, Mary, and Cathie; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by three deceased sisters: Margie, Marty Lou, and Martha; a brother, Freddie; a daughter, Patrice “Trish” Ann Hosse and a son, William Martin Jennette.

     Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, March 10th, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A. located at 12 South Second Street in Denton where friends may visit with the family from 10 until 11 before the service. The interment will be in the Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery located at 1911 Forest Drive in Annapolis, MD at a time and day to be announced.
