J. Terry George, Jr. Obituary

Terry George, Jr. (“Little Terry”) of Starr near Centreville, MD, suddenly passed away at the UM Shore Emergency Center at Queenstown, the evening of June 12th 2025. He was 40 years old.

Born in Easton, MD, Terry was the son of James “Big Terry” George, Sr. (Dena) of Bridgetown and Emily Annette Miller Grinavic (David Alan) of Centreville. He was a 2003 graduate of Q.A. County High School in Centreville, where he was known as one of the kindest, outgoing guys of his class. He was voted and proud to be the Rowdiest Redneck in the bunch.

In his younger years, Terry enjoyed racing four-wheelers, playing baseball, and was an avid outdoorsman; spending time out on the water, Crabbing, Fishing and Hunting with friends that he loved wholeheartedly. He was always up for singing, dancing and telling a story. He was a true lover of all things, Maryland, “Old Bay”, the Eastern Shore and was a die hard Orioles fan. He was an intricate decorator of “all things country”.

As a devoted Father and husband, what he enjoyed most in life was sharing his love of the outdoors and sports with his family. In any free time he had, he could be found casting a rod with his kids at Tuckahoe State Park, throwing a baseball in the yard, coaching little league, sharing and making memories with his wife Jenna, who could be found cheering him on, from every sideline. Most recently he took to playing a few rounds of golf on Sunday’s, and coaching the UQA Lions little league, where many of his boys reached “All Star” status this year.

Terry was an extremely skilled Auto Mechanic. Most recently employed for the past 3 years at Danny’s Garage in Centerville where he could still be close to family. Previously Terry was employed at Dave’s Riverside Garage and Brambles.

In addition to his parents, Terry is survived by his wife, Jenna R. George of Starr; her son Kieran Malcomn Reece. Denise Lam; of Millington (mother of) their three children: Bailey Lynn George, Bently George, and Blake George; three sisters: Alyssa George of Owings Mills, MD, Piper George of Bridgetown, and Laura Grinavic of Mt. Airy, two brothers, Landon George of Bridgetown and Tony Grinavic of Pasadena, MD, and a special family friend, Kym Albright of Starr ,His Godmother, Suzanne Gay and many Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
