Jacob Robert Repko, Jr.

     Jacob Robert Repko Jr. of Ridgely, MD, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, March 2, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was 85 years old.

     Born in Baltimore, MD, Jake was the son of the late Jacob Robert Repko, Sr. and Tillie Huncher Repko. He had worked as a machinist for Western Electric, AT&T and Lucent Technologies, retiring in 1995. He honored our great country by serving in the MD National Guard. Jake had a passion for astronomy, the sea, traveling, all things Star Trek, and scuba diving. He had a gift for making people smile, none more so than the family he created. He was a wonderful husband, father, Pop Pop and Great Pop.

     Mr. Repko is survived by his wife, Patricia Repko of Ridgely, MD; a son, Richard Robert Repko (Darlene) of Dundalk, MD; a daughter, Kelly Ann Dedrick (James) of Ridgely; a sister, Dolores Petrovich of Syracuse, NY; a brother, Ronald Repko (Joyce) of Bel Air, MD; six grandchildren: Joshua Dedrick, Austin Dedrick, Hannah Repko, Hailey Dedrick, Emma Dedrick, and Zachery Repko; and three great grandchildren: Derek, Luna, and Simon.

     A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 o'clock on March 21st at Mountain Christian Church, Abingdon Campus, 3465 Box Hill Corp. Center Dr., Abington, MD 21009.
