James M. White

James M. White of Denton, MD, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, April 23, 2022. He was 78 years old.
Born in Lebanon, VA, Mr. White was the son of the late James Oakley White and Ada Line Lampkins White. His wife, Nancy Josephine White, passed away January 12, 2019.
Mr. White was a USDA Inspector and worked at Allen Foods processing plant in Cordova, MD. He retired in 2002 after 34 years. He loved to deer hunt, work on classic cars, and was meticulous about the lawn he loved to cut and take care of. Most of all, he was a loving father and grandfather.
Mr. White is survived by his daughter, Cathy Bilbrough (Dale) of Denton; a brother, Paul White; two sisters, Dora Bevins and Sue Reynolds (Sammy); eight grandchildren: Christina Blades (Matt), Dale Bilbrough, Jr. (Kaitlyn Wheatley), Katherine Bilbrough (Jonathan West), Zach White, Lydia Grubbs (Tyler), Jake White, Nikki Moore, and Jeremy White; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Pauline Sullivan.
Funeral services will be at 11AM on Friday, April 29th from the Moore Funeral Home, P.A. located 12 S. 2nd St. Denton, MD 21629. Friends may visit with the family there the hour before the service.
