James "Whitey" Webb

     James W. “Whitey” Webb, 73, was born May 15, 1948 in Hope, AR and passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2022. He was a son of the late Arky and Betty Purcell Webb.

     Jim was married to his loving wife, Scadi for 52 years. He served with the SC Air National Guard for 25 years, retiring as a Chief Master Sergeant. He was a graduate of Coker College and an avid reader and history buff.

     Jim loved and cherished his family greatly. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Michael W. Webb and fiancé Keri L. Lovett, Bryan Webb and wife Christina, and David Webb and wife Sheilah; granddaughters, Sofia and Ava; brother, Charles R. Webb and wife Maudie; nephew, Joshua Webb; niece, Brenda Webb; mother-in-law, Hannelore "Lori" Hinson and beloved dog, Cocoa.

     A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 22, 2022 at Sandy Run Lutheran Church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
