James H. Wooters, III (“Jim Buck”), of Federalsburg, Maryland died Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at the Compass Regional Hospice in Centreville. He was 64 years old.
Born in Easton James was the son of Mary Lee Wooters of Federalsburg, and the late James H. Wooters, Jr. Mr. Wooters was a 1976 graduate of North Caroline High School. He owned his own construction and excavating business. Jimmy enjoyed his work and when he was not working, he was spending time in the great outdoors. He loved to hunt; geese, ducks, and deer were all on the menu. He also enjoyed crabbing and spending time in a boat on the water.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Wooters is survived by two daughters: Jackie Lowrey (Jamie) of Raleigh, NC, and Heather Cummings (David, Jr.) of Easton, MD; four grandchildren: Taylor Lowrey, Ainsley Lowrey both of Raleigh, NC, Carter Cummings, and Wesley Cummings both of Easton, MD; a brother, T.C. Wooters of Federalsburg; a sister, Betsy Blough (Glenn) of Denton; two nephews: Johnathan Wooters of Virginia Beach, VA, and Zach Blough (Jane) of Federalsburg. In addition to his father, James is preceded in death by a grandson, Conor Nashold.
A memorial service will be held 7PM Friday, October 14, 2022, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A. located 12 S. 2nd St. Denton, MD 21629. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home from 5PM to 7PM before the service. The interment will be private
