James Larry Cook, Sr.

     James Larry Cook, Sr. of Easton, MD, passed away peacefully at his daughter’s home in Federalsburg, MD on Monday, August 24, 2026. He was 92 years old.

     Born at home in Cordova, MD on November 22, 1933, Mr. Cook was the son of the late Arthur Elliott Cook and Sarah Marie Embert Cook. His wife, Elizabeth L. Cook, passed away February 16, 2006. Mr. Cook had lived most of his life in Queen Anne’s County and was a U.S. Army veteran serving in Germany during the Korean Conflict. He was a mechanic engineer and had worked at the Buick Motor Company in Baltimore for 20 years before working at ED Supply in Easton, Conagra Poultry in Hurlock, and for the Markell Corp. in Federalsburg. He retired in 2000. He had been a member of the Easton Moose Lodge1520 and the American Legion Talbot Post 70 and enjoyed yardwork and camping.

     Mr. Cook is survived by three daughters: Patricia Lee Kiss (Andras) of Cambridge, Bonnie Jean Domulewicz (Raymond, JR.) of Hurlock, and Lori Lynne Moran (Gary) of Federalsburg; a son, James “Jimmy” L. Cook, Jr. of Ridgely; a brother, John M. Cook (Phyllis) of Easton; three grandchildren: Erica Anna Kiss (Bruce), Raymond John Domulewicz III (Jeanna), and Austin Lee Bennett (Alexis Outten); and three great grandchildren: Raymond Domulewicz IV, Ivonna Domulewicz, and Leon Bennett. In addition to his wife and parents, he is predeceased by two brothers, Gordon Lee Cook and Charles A. Cook; and three sisters: Hazel Baxter, Anna Mae Cook, and Joan Fairbank.

     A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, September 1st, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A. located at 12 S. Second Street in Denton, MD where friends may call from 10 until 11 before the service. The interment will be in the Woodlawn Memorial Park in Easton.

     It was Mr. Cook’s wish that, in lieu pf flowers, donations be sent to the Talbot Hospice Foundation, 586 Cynwood Drive, Easton, MD 21601.
