Jean Fearins Larrimore of Denton, MD, passed away at Arcadia of Denton on Monday, January 15, 2024. She was 91 years old.
Born in Denton on December 30, 1932, Mrs. Larrimore was the daughter of the late William Louder Fearins and Ivah Mildred Moore Fearins. Her husband, R. Donald Larrimore, died December 28, 2022.
Mrs. Larrimore worked for several offices of the Caroline County government for many years, retiring as Chief Deputy of the Caroline County Circuit Court in 1997. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her family, especially attending her grandchildren’s events. In their spare time, she and her husband enjoyed staying at Treasure Beach in Fenwick, DE. She was a 1949 graduate of Caroline High School in Denton and worked many hours helping with their yearly reunions. She was a member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in Denton.
Mrs. Larrimore is survived by a daughter, Melinda L. Conner (Rick) of Denton; a son, Timothy D. Larrimore (Muriel) of Pylesville, MD; a sister, Bonnie Lohmeyer of Easton, MD; a niece, Michelle Lohmeyer; six grandchildren: Ben Clark (Lindsey), Mark Conner (Aryn); Chase Conner (Jalyn), Kaitlyn Larrimore (Jake), Christian Larrimore (Anna) and Maddison Larrimore; five great grandchildren: Penelope, Audrey, Harper, Thomas, and Mylee. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Chad Clark; a brother, William Dulin Fearins; and a foster brother, Henry Trice.
Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Monday, January 22nd, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A. located at 12 S. Second Street in Denton, MD 21629 where friends may visit from 11 until 12 before the service. The interment will follow in the Denton Cemetery.
