Jesse F. Werner

Jesse Fifer Werner of Denton, Maryland died on Friday, May 26, 2023, at Arcadia II in Denton. He was 87 years old.

Born at home near Denton on August 28, 1935, Jesse was the son of the late Carl Joseph Werner and Rosella Paris Werner. Jesse worked for Caroline County Public Roads for over 20 years. He loved working on his farm and milking cows. Jesse enjoyed having a garden where he grew his own vegetables. Jesse also enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and going to family picnics.

Jesse is survived by his daughter-in-law, Laurie Kontz; grandson, Tristan Friel (Carli Kennedy); granddaughter, Haley Werner; great-grandson, Lane Joseph Friel; and two brothers: Robert “Bud” Werner, and J. Allen Werner, Sr. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary A. Werner, son, Joseph L. Werner, and brother, Charles Werner.

A graveside service will be held in Denton Cemetery.
